In order to survive in life, we all "adapt" ourselves, unconsciously shaping our behaviors and personalities. Sometimes, however, these patterns stop serving us and start to get in the way.

Through honest dialogue with a good therapist, you become conscious of how these unconscious ways of thinking and acting - what Carl Jung called "personas" or "parts" - hold you back, and open up to new possibilities that are adaptive to the "now."

As a therapist, I hold you with non-judgement for whatever your adaptions are. We all do them, just in different ways.

I love helping people "get real" and change into new, fresh ways of living.

Hi, I'm Evan.

I practice therapy to help heal a broken, wounded world. We are each wounded because our society is ill, and it wounds us.

Most of us don't grow up with mentors, or with intact mythological systems and rituals that allow us to continually heal our wounds and adapt. So we struggle.

But we don't need to do it alone!

I see therapists as modern translators of universal life wisdom that help us as humans to thrive and embrace the wholeness of life and who we each uniquely are.

I'm heavily inspired by the mythological perspectives of Carl Jung and Joseph Campbell, as well as by the many indigenous elders and teachers with whom I have the great good fortune to learn from in my life.

I also practice EMDR, IFS, Existential Therapy, Gottman Therapy and Ecotherapy, utilizing different modalities as needed.

I'm also a musician, writer, and enthusiastic liver of life.
